After leaving the pleasant little town of Pine River this morning Elliot and I road the last 40 miles of the Paul Bunyan Trail and found lunch at a gas station down the road from CLC college in Brainerd, MN. After taking about an hour break we had to trek the last 10 miles down highway 371. Riding on the road is a lot different then the Paul Bunyan Trail. After making the 10 mile journey south on 371, we are currently camped in the Crow Wing State Park about 22 miles north of Little Falls, MN. The park sits on over 2200 acres nestled right along the Mississippi River. Another beautiful state park Elliot and I have had the pleasure of camping in.
We are not yet sure what the plan is for tomorrow, but we are looking forward to our last night in the beautiful woods of northern Minnesota. Currently cooking food over the fire, and enjoying this calm summer night!
