Day 8 -Little Falls to St. Cloud

Finally we are back in our home stomping grounds of St. Cloud, MN. I must say it does feel weird to be back. It's also odd to be familiar with a town for the first time on this trip! Elliot and I left Little Falls around 11am and arrived in St. Cloud around 2:45pm just as the rain was falling. As we came through Sartell we connected with the Beaver Trail bike path which took us all the way to the St. Cloud State campus. Today's ride was about 36 miles, but a head wind blowing in our faces made for a much harder ride then expected. We followed the Great River Road the entire way to St. Cloud with the Mississippi River in view practically the entire ride. The route was also very well marked today which always makes for a better ride.

We would like to say thank you to our two good friends Zach Fuchs and Mitch Marlow for letting us stay at your house and do our laundry. It's always nice to have good friends to count on when you need them!

Tomorrow we will be heading South towards St. Paul and are planning to stay by another friends house in Dayton, MN.
