Night Day 12- Bay City, Wisconsin

After a 67 mile day, Elliot and I have found a spot to camp for the night in the sleepy little town of Bay City, Wisconsin. After taking off this morning from St. Paul, MN we rode South through Inner Grove, and down to Hastings, MN. After crossing the Mississippi River in Hastings we crossed the border into Wisconsin and connected with highway 35 South.

We got very lucky today and avoided most of the rain in the area. The only downside to today's ride was a flat tire on Elliot's rear wheel, and the steep climbs we faced while riding up and down the bluffs. At one point we walked our bikes up a mile hill because our legs were too exhausted to peddle.

The views from today were fantastic as we followed the river cutting through the bluffs. We are finally on our 2nd state of this trip. Done with Minnesota and looking forward to riding Wisconsin, Elliot's home state for the next couple days!

For tonight we are camped out along the shore of yet another gorgeous lake!
