Morning Day 14- Merrick State Park

Good morning friends and family! Sorry for not getting a post yesterday. It was a long and wet day. As we left Bay City Wednesday morning and headed south on highway 35 we were challenge right from the start with a 2.5 mile climb to get back on the bluffs above the river.

Yesterday was a challenge. The rain and hills were tough to grind through, but Elliot and I were able to get through it. The views down this section of highway 35 South are the best we have encountered yet. Bay City, WI was a hidden gem not even mentioned on the map, and the views from the other small towns along yesterday's ride were outta this world!

Today's weather looks great for riding! Sunny with a breeze from the north pushing on our backs. We are hopeful to make it the 84 miles South to Ferryville, WI south of La Crosse.

Looking forward to meeting up with Elliot's parents Friday Night!

                                 -Michael
